For Downtown Palm Beach Gardens, a retail and entertainment destination in Palm Beach County, we created an experiential holiday storefront that invited passers-by to write letters to Santa and drop them into a red mailbox. A transparent section of the design invited children to peer into an intriguing shadowbox-style scene featuring Santa’s glasses on a writing desk surrounded by huge sacks of mail. We conceptualized and designed all elements, including the letter template provided to guests. The festive interactive campaign yielded over 600 letters from children and reached tens of thousands on social media as people posted photos of their children in front of the display and dropping letters to Santa into the North Pole mailbox.
